The Lockey PB1100 'touch bar' style exit device is suitable for all doors (aluminum, hollow metal and wood) where there is no projection on the face. Manufactured of plated steel with zinc head cover in a painted aluminum finish, the PB1100 is weather resistant and durable enough for the most demanding applications. Available for 36" and 48" wide doors.

PB1100 Panic Bar Features:

ANSI/BHMA A156.3 Series Grade 1 Certified.
Complies with ANSI A117.a ADA requirements.
UL Listed.
Fits standard 1-3/4" door frames.
Accepts Lockey "P" Series keyless outside trim.

Specifications

PB1100 Technical Specifications:

Material: Extruded Anodized Aluminum push bar.
Latch: Stainless Steel, 3/4" throw, 5/8" dead latch, Stainless steel springs.
Backset: 2-3/4" Covers 161 Prep and includes latch and strike filler plates.
Strike: Surface mounted for 5/8" stop with shim.
Projection: 2-1/2" - 1-7/8" dogged (dogging feature not equipped on fire rated bar).
Stile: 4-1/4" minimum.
Handling: Reversible/Non-Handed.
Door Thickness: 1-3/4" (Standard).
Device Length: 33" (36" doors) or 42" (48" doors).
Can be field sized cut to 27".
Mounting Height: Recommended to install at 41" from finished floor to center line of push rail.
Fasteners: Furnished with sheet metal and machine screws.
Cylinder: Accepts all key trim cylinders.
Dogging: 1/2 turn hex key.
Warranty: 10 year mechanical.

Customer Install - Horizontal Rail Privacy Fence with Lockey Panic Hardware and Accessories - Metairie, LA

Here is a series of photographs from our customer Randy down in Metairie, Louisiana, of very nice installation of a horizontal rail privacy fence which is outfitted with a Lockey PB1142 panic bar along with other accessories, including a Lockey 285-P for controlled outside access.
