Heavy Duty Gate Wheel (5110)
Our Heavy Duty Gate Wheel facilitates smooth opening/closing movement of a gate and provides some support for heavier gates. It’s been designed with care and manufactured with high-quality materials to ensure its durability.
This hardware is ideal for use with Wood Gates.
Heavy Duty Gate Wheel (5110) Features:- Intended for use on all gates
- Sold individually
- Manufactured from steel with a 304 stainless steel spring
- Overall Length of 15" with a 4" Diameter Wheel
- The Back Plate measures 6.5" x 2" and is made of 3/16" thick Steel
- Color matched carriage bolts (2 HDG 3/8" x 4”) included (appropriate for gates up to 3" thick).
- For Gates up to 3" thick (Longer Bolts can be requested if Gate is thicker than 3")
- For installation the Cotter Pin in the 5/8" thick Square Shaft has to be removed
- Vertical Movement of the Wheel can be adjusted up to 2" by varying the location of the Cotter Pin in the Spring
- Available in Hot Dipped Galvanized or Black Powder Coat Over Hot Dipped Galvanized Finish (BPPCG)

- Ideally used on larger gates travelling across a relatively level surface like a driveway.
- For installation, the cotter pin in the 5/8” thick square shaft has to be removed to separate the components and allow for carriage bolts to be installed through the gate.
- Vertical movement of the wheel can be adjusted up to 2” by varying the location of the cotter pin in the spring.

The wheels are much more heavy duty..
The wheels are much more heavy duty than the pinner wheels that were on the gate. Only opening it one time and it bent like a pretzel. The wheels from Hoover zfence are rated at 400 pounds, so they should hold up much better. Looks like a quality product
