PreTied Chain Link Fence Post Ties - Aluminum

Chain link ties are used to secure chain link fence fabric to posts and horizontal rails. Order 2" ties for 2" tube, 2-1/2" ties for 2-1/2" tube, and so forth. 1-5/8" ties are typically used for 1-3/8" tube. Use these 9 gauge aluminum ties for residential, commercial and industrial chain link fence projects. For heavier duty chain link fence ties, consider 6 gauge aluminum ties, or steel ties. Aluminum chain link fence ties are also available vinyl coated in popular colors of black, green, and brown.

In general, space every 24" on horizontal top rail of chain link fence, every 24" on mid and bottom rails if applicable. Consider more ties and less space between them for baseball backstops, even as close as every 6" on mid and bottom rails for a secure fit. Bottom rail installed on chain link fence to help contain animals may often be secured with additional ties for better security. Install chain link post ties approximately every 14" on vertical intermediate posts. A common rule of them is to install one less in quantity than the height of fence you are installing, like tension bands at terminals. 4' high chain link fences would have three post ties. 5' high chain link fence would have four post ties and so forth.
