Twist Tight Preformed Steel Tie Wires - Tension Wire, 1.2 oz Galv. (9ga)

Used for attaching top or bottom tension wire to chain link fabric. Tension wire ties for correctional, military and aviation use.

The unique shape of Twist Tight Ties insures tighter fabric tension. Ideal for high security uses.

Twist Tight Fence Ties were designed specifically to meet the high standards of correctional institutions. They are ideal in security applications using 2-inch mesh or smaller. Ends are twisted opposite the fabric making it difficult to take off. Yet, they’re easy to install with our custom power drill bit tool.

Twist Tight Ties are shaped to fit around tension wire and fabric without opening the tie. Pinches together easily and twists with drill for quick installation. They are available in several gauges and coatings.

Meets ASTM F 626-6.1.2 specifications as well as Federal Bureau of Prisons, Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Aviation Administration and state and local correctional facility specifications.

Specifications

Twist Tight Tension Wire Ties

The tie shall be a steel wire preformed to go around the tension wire and a knuckle of the chain link fabric. The two ends shall be power twisted with a tool designed to twist the ends three full twists equivalent to one and one half machine turns. The tie shall be postioned on the Tension Wire with the twisted end protruding in a direction parallel to the fence preventing risk of injury to passing personnel. The gauge of the wire tie shall be either 9ga for fences with gauges 9 guage or larger and 11 gauge for lighter materials.
