EMX CarSense 101 - Vehicle Motion Detector with Sensing Probe w/ 100' Lead (XC101-100-LV)

The CarSense 101 vehicle motion detector consists of a control module with a standard 11-pin connector and a sensing probe that is easily installed along a roadway. The CS101 can be seamlessly integrated with security control boards, gate and door operators.

The CS101 provides a solution for many vehicle detection challenges, including:
• Safety – detects moving vehicles in blind areas along a driving path and actuates warning lights
• Security – detects approaching vehicles or unauthorized movement of parked vehicles and actuates alarms, video cameras or other annunciators
• Access control – acts as a free exit vehicle detector for gates, overhead doors and parking barriers

The CarSense 101 Vehicle Motion Detector has a buried sensing probe to protect against vandalism. It is housed in a small, relay-type housing, making it easy to integrate with security control boards, gate and door operators. The CarSense 101 provides a solution for many vehicle detection challenges. Where safety is an issue, the CarSense 101 detects moving vehicles in blind areas along a driving path, and actuates warning lights. Where security is an issue, the CarSense 101 detects approaching vehicles or an unauthorized movement of a parked vehicle and actuates alarms, video cameras or annunciator. For access control applications requiring free exit, the CarSense 101 detects vehicles and actuates gates, overhead doors and other parking barriers.
NOTE: Do not use the CarSense sensor for presence detection application. If presence detection is required, use loop detectors or photoeyes.
