Radio transmitters are programmed to open/ close gate openers and garage door openers. Often called clickers, or remotes, transmitters are an inexpensive, easy to program, and a secure method to control access. Check brand and model, frequency, and programming method for compatibility with radio receivers. Consider adding a wireless keypad programmed to same receiver for additional control.
Single button transmitters are usually used to control one gate, or door. Multiple button transmitters are usually used to control multiple doors, gates, or some of each.
Radio transmitter features may include long range, rolling code, Weigand output, and keychain/ visor clip storage solutions. Wireless transmitters are also used to send signals from safety edges installed on automated gates and overhead doors to openers to protect without extra wires.
Popular brands include Multi-Code, Digi-Code, Linear, GTO/PRO, MillerEdge, and Chamberlain Liftmaster.
