I looked all over for hardware to hold..
I looked all over for hardware to hold French doors open before I finally found this beautiful hardware. It is perfect for the task.
Arrived in a timely fashion and USA made
Arrived in a timely fashion and USA made (which I try to support when possible). Is very beefy, made of 7/16" diameter round rod with strong mounting brackets and long screws (had to nip down the screws a bit on the gate side as those went into the face of a 2x4). Not cheap, is heavy duty, this is the real thing. Using it on a large gate that gets a lot of cross wind and it is as solid as a rock.
