Many of our vinyl fence sections and PVC railing sections utilize routed posts. Posts are routed depending on use, i.e. end posts have holes routed on one side, corner posts with holes routed on adjacent sides to create a 90 degree or thereabout turn, and line posts have holes routed clear through to be used as an intermediate post. However there are many instances when horizontal rails of fence or railing section need attached with a wall mount bracket, either by design or by circumstance.
Use Wall Mount Brackets designed for vinyl fence sections and railing which fit horizontal rails. Identify the make and model of vinyl first and measure inside and outside of horizontal rail carefully for proper fit. Use a Wall Mount Bracket with Plate when section of fence is in-between two fixed objects, like porch posts, or columns. Wall Mount Bracket with Plates allow one to cut down rail (cut down both ends to keep symmetrical), fit and secure wall mount bracket to rail, and then slide entire section in-between posts for securing with screws. Conversely, Wall Mount Brackets without Plate may be used between a fixed object and a routed post. Secure wall mount bracket to fixed object first, slide rail over, and affix with screws. Wall Mount Brackets without plate are less visible for a cleaner look. Horizontal rail trim is available for most of our styles of vinyl railing and fence. Snap caps, snap cap washers, and screws are available in matching colors.
Secure hollow vinyl fence posts for vinyl fence and railing to flat surfaces such as decks and concrete surfaces using a Post Support Kit, a round galvanized steel post secured to floor and adapted to fit square vinyl posts.
