Adjustable Bottom Fitting (8250)

Our Adjustable Bottom Fitting allows for the easy up or down adjustment of the latch-end of a gate. Up or down adjustment of the latch end of the gate is quick and easy requiring only a few seconds and a wrench. It is used as the bottom hinge in our Double Straps with Central Eye Hinge sets (8312-S), but we also offer it separately in case you need to break the sets apart for any reason.

This hardware is ideal for use with Wood Gates.

• Intended for use on wood applications.
• 10" long gate eye paired with “U” brackets to fit a 3" thick gate.
• Composed of Two "U" Brackets that Encompass Either Side of the Gate Stile (3" Thick) a 12" by 3/4" Diameter Heavy Eye Bolt and Two Nuts
• Allows for Easy Adjustment of Latch End of Gate. Requires Only a Few Seconds and a Wrench. Simply Loosen One Nut and then Tighten the Other to Raise or Lower the Latch End of the Gate.
• Manufactured from forged steel.
• Available in Hot Dipped Galvanized or Black (BPPCG) finishes.
• Sold individually.
• 3/4" Eye to Fit 3/4" Pins (Sold Separately)
• Typically used as the bottom hinge, along with our Double Strap Hinges: Central Eye (#8312) and Rear Eye (#8324)

Note: Requires that the Gate Vertical be 3" Thick. This is Accomplished by Adding an Extra Piece of 2x6 Lumber between the Lower Two Horizontal Bars of the Gate.
