Threaded Adjustable Pin (8801)

Our fully Threaded Adjustable Pins allow you to bolt right through most post sizes and provide easy lateral-adjustment.

This hardware is ideal for use with Wood Gates.

3/4" Threaded Adjustable Pin (8801) Features:

Fully threaded design provides for easy adjustment of gate position.
Intended for all through-bolt applications of gate posts.
Available in 8", 12", 16" or 24" lengths.
Standard 3/4-10 threads.

Instructions

Ideally used for all gate posts where a through bolt application is required.
The pins are easily installed through a 3/4" hole through your gate post. The two nuts and washers position the pin tight to the post and provide for easy adjustment in and out using a standard wrench.

Here are few great photos from our customer Donnie down in Middleburg, Florida, of one Maine Board gate which was built using our DIY Wood Gate Plans, and a variety of Snug Cottage Wood Gate Hardware. For the hinges, Donnie chose the 8801-082 3/4" Threaded Adjustable Pin Hinges paired with the 8312-482 Double Strap Hinges with Central Eye, and 8250-002 Adjustable Bottom Fittings. This gate is latched with the 5002-L122 12" Slide Bolt Latch.

Customer Install - Wood Gate Hung Using Central Eye Double Strap Hinges and 3/4" Pins - Draper, UT

Here is a really nice gate that our customer Ben out in Utah hung using our Snug Cottage Hardware 8312 Central Eye Double Strap Hinges and 8801-08P 8" x 3/4" Pins. This wood gate is painted white and backed with wire mesh to prevent animals from passing through the larger openings. Great job Ben and thank you for your picture!

We installed a new post for a sixteen foot farm gate. The gate provided secuirity for part of our property. When we attempted to linstall the gate hinge bolts we discovered we needed a 16 inch bolt. There were no bolts that long anywhere in our area. We ordered them on line and received the bolts in a very short time. We received exactly what we needed to secure the property.
