We recommend the Ball Fabric Tie-Wraps over any other fastening device to secure your screening to your chain link fence. These Tie-Wraps hold the screen flat and taut on the fence and provide some safety in high wind conditions. These Tie-Wraps have UV inhibitors, making them more durable for outdoor conditions than white or clear wraps that can deteriorate in sunlight.
You will need both the 7-1/2" 50lb Tie-Wraps (CABLE-TIE-7) and the 8" 120lb Tie-Wraps (CABLE-TIE-8) to secure your screen to your chain link fence.
Place the 50lb Tie-Wraps along the top and halfway down the sides of your screen. Place the 120lb Tie-Wraps along the bottom and halfway up the sides of your screen. If your screen has a grommet strip, then use 120lb Tie-Wraps to secure the grommet strip along the middle. We recommend this technique so that the 50lb Tie-Wraps will break during high winds, allowing the top half of the screen to fold over the bottom; keeping the screen from flapping against an abrasive surface that can result in premature screen deterioration.
Grommets are spaced twelve inches apart and our tiese are sold in bags of 100qty.
