Local Installation of a Cantilever Gate Kit and Industrial Double Gate, with a small stretch of Chain Link Fence connecting the gates. Hardware used includes DAC Industries Premium Stealth Series Cantilever Double Bearing Rollers (Model 5658-HD) with Universal Roller Safety Covers (Model 5975) for the Cantilever Gate, and an Industrial Chain Link Fence Drop Rod Kit (Model DD-6) for the Double Walk Gate.

A 10' High x 32' Wide overall cantilever gate mounted on galvanized 6-5/8" Sch40 posts. DAC Industries Premium Stealth Series Cantilever Double Bearing Rollers (Model 5658-HD) were used with Universal Roller Safety Covers (Model 5975). Gate opens with one hand. Fence Privacy Screen should follow.

Installation posed a few obstacles: asphalt surface with known underground utilities. Masonry wall has curved surface, preventing gate installation tight to wall. We recessed gate to allow for opening along backside of wall. Counterbalance was carefully measured so as to not hit adjacent building (backside) when gate opens.

Two gate panels were custom built. One was hung on 3/4" extended pins to 'miss' adjacent wall for pedestrian access. Other panel is a faux 'dummy' gate, bolted in place and inoperable to prevent pedestrian access near counterbalance and rollers. Adjustable 3/4" pins and brace bands were used to secure.

90' x 160' Rectangular 6' High Chain Link Industrial Fence Enclosure includes 9 gauge galvanized chain link fabric, 3" HF40 terminal posts, 2-1/2" HF40 line/ intermediate posts, 1-5/8" HF40 toprail. Project also includes 6-5/8" bollards. Access provided by main 6' high x 20' wide opening steel cantilever gate hung on 4" HF40 posts using DAC Industries DAC-5800-HD rollers and DAC-5975 universal rollers covers. We installed 16' double swing gate using 180 degree hinge adapters and butt hinges.

Self-Storage Fence and Automatic Gate Project Access provided by main 6' high x 20' wide opening steel cantilever gate hung on 4" HF40 posts using DAC Industries DAC-5800-HD rollers and DAC-5975 universal rollers covers. An HSLG-111 gate operator was installed with EMX IRB-RET photoeyes, BD Loops and loop detectors, Miller Safety Edge, and a networked keypad.

(Roller covers have not been installed on this gate system at the time of the photos, never use a slide gate without roller covers for safety reasons).

Chain Link Cantilever Slide Gate, 6-5/8" Gate Posts, and Chain Link Cut Posts are being loaded up on a flat bed truck for delivery.

This Chain Link Cantilever Slide Gate was a local installation by Hoover Fence Company. It features Steel Cantilever Rollers and plastic Universal Roller Covers. A gate operator will complete this installation in the future.

These Chain Link Cantilever Slide Gates were installed locally by Hoover Fence Company. Featured are Stealth Nylon Rollers/Universal Covers. GTO Sliding Gate Operators were installed. GTO Photo Beams were used for safety purposes. Fence and gates are topped with Barbwire Arms and Barbwire.

This Chain Link Cantilever Slide Gate was installed with Stealth Nylon Rollers/Covers. The gate is opened/closed with a GTO Sliding Gate Operator. Solar Panel and Miller Safety Edge completes this system.

Below are Chain Link Cantilever Slide Gates. The first gate is 7' high and built to fit a 16' opening. The second gate is 4' high and built to fit a 15' opening. The gate sections without fabric are added to the total opening size for a counter balance needed for sliding cantilever gates. Normally, the counter balance is 1/3 of the total length of the gate.

Below are pictures of a 6'x16' Chain Link Cantilever Slide Gate with 1' barbwire. The gate kit includes a GTO SL2000B gate operator with a GTO F310 wireless key pad and GTO RB741 transmitter. This particular gate was installed by Hoover Fence Company in Warren Ohio.

I have been in the market for a cantilever gate for a couple of years. I have had several companies that seemed interested in installing a gate for me, but NONE has followed through, and the prices I had seemed very high. Below is the automated gate. It has an exit wand to open due to arriving vehicle, a keypad, photoeyes to protect from closing on object, solar power, and of course transmitters. Next to it is the manual 18" gate.
