Linear Pro Access SL-2000B Slide Gate Opener (Formerly GTO SL-2000B)

The SL-2000B Slide Gate Opener is intended for use with vehicular slide gates in either residential, commercial, or industrial applications. For gates up to a maximum of 30 ft (9.1 m) and 1000 lbs (454 kg) with a 20 ft (6.1 m) opening. The operator is system certified to be in compliance with UL325, 5th Edition.

The brake model slide gate operator has an internal braking system. It is useful if security or vandalism is an issue. There is no electric lock option available for this operator. The operator will hold the gate shut and one person can not force it open, however two people or a force equal or greater may be able to force it open. This would either break the chain, strip the internal gears or both. You may prevent this from happening by ordering the SL-2000B. The SL-2000B has an internal brake installed. This brake locks the gears down so that they can not be forced open. If a strong force were to try to force it open, the gears would not be stripped. Someone would have to cut and remove the chain in order to force the gate open. Simply put, it is a safety device to prevent operator damage and to further secure the gate.

Combine with the SL-2200B Slave Slide Gate Opener if you have a double gate application.
