D-6030 Standard Kit – No Lock Box
The D-6030 Standard Kit – No Lock Box - includes the parts to surface mount a D-6000 panic bar to a chain link or ornamental metal gate. This kit allows for free exit/egress only, with no access/ingress from the outside of the gate.
The D-6030 Standard Kit – No Lock Box - Contents:
- D-6000 (36"L) trimmable surface mount exit bar - silver only.
- D-6900-UN (12"H) or D-6500 (24"H) 16ga. mounting plate, adjusts for 29"-54" wide gate frame - not drilled for lock box or panic bar - black or silver.
- D-6020 Adjustable Receiver bracket for 3" O.D. (outside diameter) post (2-7/8" actual) - black or silver.
- Stainless Steel tek-screws and fasteners.
Ordering Notes:
Height - refers to mounting plate height. Width - refers to panic bar length. Finish - refers to mounting plate and adjustable receiver bracket.
If you need a lock box, You will need to upgrade to the D-6040 kit. If you need outside trim, or if you plan to add an electric strike, then you will need to upgrade your kit to a D-6045 kit with the V40 panic bar.
We recommend using either self closing hinges or a gate closer in combination with a panic bar kit. Self Closing Hinges | Gate Closers
Building Notes:
Holes must be drilled in plate to mount panic bar.
