Our Hampton Thumb Latch is fashioned on an old Pennsylvania design that dates back to the late 1800's. This latch is traditional styled to accentuate New England charm. At the same time it is very functional and robust. On the bar side a simple mechanical locking mechanism has been incorporated into the design. This timeliness and classic latch can be utilized in a multitude of applications including yard-swing gates and in-swinging doors.

This latch is ideal for use with Wood Gates.

• Short thumb bar for gates up to 3" thick and long thumb bar for gates 3.25" to 5" thick included.
• Up to 1" Gap Between Gate and Post (1/2" Recommended).
• Bar Flush Mounted (Handle on opposite side to hinges).
• Fits Either Right or Left Hand.

• Easy to Install (Requires Single 3/4 Inch Round Hole).
• Manufactured from a combination of stainless steel and zinc/aluminum alloy.

• Includes an ornate, flip-over cam locking mechanism.
