Spring Gate Latch – Between Post Mount (8327)
Our Spring Gate Latch is an attractive and secure latching mechanism ideal for residential and hobby farm applications. This version is intended for mounting between the posts and therefore requires a 4” space between the post and gate.
The Spring Latch is a very heavy duty latch that has been the mainstay used on larger wooden gates in England for well over one hundred years. It offers much over products available on the domestic market. It is very robust and extremely functional. For the equestrian it is ideal. The spring latch is easily operated while handling a horse on a lead shank or even from horse back.
This latch is ideal for use with Wood Gates.

- Not recommended for use with livestock.
- Fits 3" Thick Gates and Requires a Square Post (minimum 6x6).
- Requires 4" Between Gate and Post.

- Ideally used for single rail gates or single five bar gates that are mounted "between the posts". This type of gate overlaps the opening and is typically built narrower than the opening.
- Use in conjunction with our Central Eye Double Strap hinge sets (8312-S).
- Fits 3" thick gates.
- Requires 4" space between the gate and post.

Cant fault the service advice and communication, absolutely fantastic. The product is quality though careful with drill settings as the screw heads strip easily.
