D&D Technologies SureClose ReadyFit Gate Stop (7403)

The 7403 ReadyFit® Gate Stop is designed specifically to work only with the SureClose® ReadyFit models.

*CAUTION: This gate stop will not work with other SureClose® hinge models.

This gate stop is ideal for use with square profile metal gates.

ReadyFit Gate Stop (7403) Features:

Gate stops at 85 degrees - prevents damage to hinges if gate slammed open
Reduces wear on gate and less need to adjust hinges
Semi-soft rubber bumper minimizes gate bounce-back
Weld or fasten - 12g Tek screws included
Custom finish rated to 1,000 hours salt-spray and 500 hours UV - no need to grind off before welding
Stainless steel components (Stainless Steel Threaded Rod and Flange Nuts)
Horizontally adjustable bumper for gate gaps of 1⁄2" to 13⁄8" (12-35mm)
Reversible (right or left handed)
Quick-fit alignment leg - for ease of installation, alignment and double face-fixing strength
9 gauge (.157" - 4mm) steel stands up to heavy abuse

Here are a few pictures from a customer of ours out in Olympia, Washington of a very nice installation of an all black chain link swing gate which has a square frame. This particular installation required a combination of the RF-SM-S ReadyFit Hinge with Aluminum Brackets (74001313), a RF-108SF-S ReadyFit Hinge/Gate Closer (74108323), and a SureClose ReadyFit Gate Stop (7403).

Here are some great pictures from our customer over in Missouri. We are proud that they chose to use our SureClose ReadyFit hinges for this metal fence gate project that looks to be under a bridge, or parking garage. Rachael used a combination of RF-SM-S (74001313) and RF-108SF-S (74108323) gate hinges and closers along with a SureClose ReadyFit Gate Stop (7403) which keeps the gate from being overextended.

Overall experience was very positive, but there should and could have been better explanation of the actual product. I.E On the self closing hinge options they're are 3: one 90 one 180 and one that only controls close speed not shut speed. 90 degree option requires door stop but was not clearly shown. Could have ordered all in one shot instead of three shipments. Just a suggestion because I ended up with 2 different style hinges. OVerall experieince other than this above was a 10 You guys are great and will use you again.
