Landscape Chain (3429)
Our Landscape Chain in black polyester powder coated over hot dipped galvanized which produces a rich looking final product that will not rust. When used as part of a post and chain barrier system or landscape feature, it provides a quality looking finish that will endure for years to come. Sold by linear foot.
About the Coating: First of all, we use only Hot Dipped Galvanized Chain manufactured in the USA to assure maximum corrosion protection. During the coating process the chain is extensively washed to ensure all oxide is removed. It then undergoes a dip "E-Coat", which is a rust resistant coating used in the automotive industry. Finally, a high quality Black Polyester Powder Coating (BPPCG) is applied to produce a top quality and durable finish. This is a much more durable and hardy finish than chain dipped in liquid plastic.
3/16" Chain is only recommended for light duty applications, such as residential installations. It is suitable for use with Wood Posts and Chain Accessories.
Minimum size recommended for commercial applications is 1/4" chain with maximum post spacing of 6 linear feet. 1/4", 5/16", or 3/8" are suitable for use with Boston Garden Posts and Central Park Posts, Chain Accessories, or Wood, Granite, and Steel.

- 3/16" chain is only recommended for light duty applications, such as residential installations.
- 1/4" chain is the minimum size recommended for commercial applications, with a maximum post spacing of 6'.
- When installing chain between posts as a landscape edging add 10% extra chain length to the linear footage measured to allow for a swag or droop of the chain between the posts.
- 3/16" – maximum UPS Length is 150', and maximum available single length is 1000'
- 1/4" – maximum UPS Length is 100', and maximum available single length is 800'
- 5/16" – maximum UPS Length is 75', and maximum available single length is 550'
- 3/8" – maximum UPS Length is 50', and maximum available single length is 400'
- UPS length limits to 65 pounds per box.
- Maximum available chain lengths must be sent motor freight. (Extra charges may apply)
