Our most basic hinge. A similar design to those readily available at most hardware retailers, but manufactured using stainless steel to provide an exceptional quality product intended for simple applications.
The 8310 Stainless Steel Threaded Hook and Eye Hinge Sets from Snug Cottage Hardware are perfect for hanging your traditional wood or wooden split rail fence gate. Sold in sets, each pair includes (2) threaded hooks and (2) threaded eyes. Pins measure 1/2" x 4" and are available in Satin Stainless Steel (8310-4SC) and Black Powder Coated Stainless Steel (8310-BSS) finishes.
Since both sides of the hinge screw into the post and gate frame respectively, these hinges provide a lot of allowance when installing your wood gate. As mentioned this type of hinge is great for split rail fence gates which typically have uneven surfaces to mount to.
